Welcome to the latest Club update, the final one for a month, as obviously there is less news to report during the summer.

On the field, our first team have finished in a commendable third place, while our Reserves have won their League title.

Off the field we have just marked twenty-one years away from West Street, and the question many people ask me is whether there is any chance we will ever get back to a new ground in the Borough. Although I have heard some positive news, progress is slow and I am unable to release any more information at this stage. However, the club hope to be in a position to advise further at the A.G.M. which is usually in late June.

In the meantime, please keep checking back here. Although there will be no new match reports during the closed season the club history contnues to expand and is well worth a read through if you have a bit of spare time. In addition if anything happens that is of interest, I will advise it here on the front page. That includes Cup draws, AGM details, pre-season friendlies (we have one against Walton Casuals on Saturday 19th July) or details regarding the 8th Dave Wilson Trophy, they will all be here, in addition to some articles and a seasonal summmary that will be up and running by the end of the week.

Finally, the Club Presentation Evening is at the Stoneleigh Inn on Saturday 17th May at 8pm and tickets are £10. I imagine you will be able to pay on the night as the club still have tickets to sell.

I will finish by saying thank you to all who have visited and supported the Historical web site this season since its opening on September 9th. The site will continue to expand, and if you have any suggestions for articles or sections, or even if you just have a question for the Historian, please drop me a line at the email on the front page. Oh yes, and please tell your friends about the site too!!

Have a great break!

Come on you Salts!
