3rd August 2015 Welcome to the latest Club update. We have had two friendly matches in the last seven days, defeating Lingfield 4-0 on Tuesday before falling to our first defeat of the pre-season 2-0 at Croydon on Saturday. I referred to the Lingfield win briefly last week and we were a little short of players for our trip to the Arena, conceding twice in the second half. On Tuesday we play Chipstead in the ninth Dave Wilson Memorial Trophy contest. It is always unfortunate when the Trophy is a one match occasion as opposed to a four team tournament, but Chipstead will pose a tough test for our boys at High Road and it will be interesting to see how we cope. There is very little else to report this week. Oh yes, the League season starts on Saturday! Why not come on down to High Road for a tough opening fixture with Windsor? Come on you Salts!
