Welcome to the latest Club update.

It's been another quiet week for the Salts. In fact, it's been so wet that we even had two matches at High Road postponed!

In such circumstances, we go into the tough top of the table League clash with South Park in uncertain form. Are we playing well or not? Do we have a new striker to replace Kyle Hough or not? Has Lyndon decided that he is happy with the strikers he has and has strengthened the squad elsewhere? All, regrettably, questions I don't know the answer to!!

However, it's not exactly doom and gloom. Yes, James Cottee will be suspended for the trip to South Park, but so will their Captain Dan Guscott as neither have had the opportunity to serve their suspensions that resulted from the previous meeting yet. Cottee has a further game to miss after the South Park match, and that is likely to be the tricky League match at Badshot Lea this Saturday, which will be played at Ash United, their "home" ground this season. We know that it drains fairly well there, so if the weather relents a little bit, we should have a better idea of our title credentials in a few days time.

Our away record in the League is currently W9 D1 L1 which is as good as I can ever remember it in my time with the club, so we go into these two matches in good confidence.

I will just finish by reminding you all that if you want a piece of Epsom memorabilia there are still some very rare Epsom programmes on eBay right now. If you don't have a copy of last season's Cup Final v South Park, or even a copy of the programme from the famous 1981 Surrey Senior Cup Final win over Woking, now's your chance. Other issues that were sold out on the day like St Neots (H) or Beckenham (H) together with our first and last matches at Merstham are all available for just £5. A bargain for an Epsom fan!

Come on you Salts!
