2nd February 2015

Welcome to the latest Club update.

Saturday's postponed game with Westfield left us with a blank week. By the time we meet Camberley this Saturday, we shall have had an eighteen day break between fixtures.

This also means that our remaining suspensions now come into effect against the League leaders, but, assuming the game is played, we will be able to go forward without having one arm tied behind our back!

The Westfield game has been rearranged for Tuesday 24th March. The reason for the delay is entirely due to the number of fixtures Westfield have remaining, and is a reminder of how fortunate we are in playing on the High Road pitch. It may get chilly from time to time, but Saturday's postponement was our first home one of the season.

Our next midweek fixture is on 24th February when we host Camberley Town in the Quarter Final of the League Cup. Of course we meet at Chipstead in the League this Saturday and having already met twice this season, our most regular opponent will continue to be that way for some time. Unless of course they get promoted, and we can do something about that by handing them a defeat on Saturday. They haven't lost in the League for a while, but we beat them in December in the Surrey Senior Cup so it is not beyond us.

Come on you Salts!
