Welcome to the latest Club update.

Again, only the one fixture this week as the Salts suffered a narrow and undeserved defeat to leaders Cove.

If we had taken our chances we would have come away with a win but had to accept our first defeat in six visits to Oak Farm thanks to one defensive lapse in the 53rd minute.

This was ever so harsh on our lads but we have to pick ourselves up for the short trip to Cobham for our match with Mole Valley SCR on Tuesday. There have been a few rumours going around about Cobham FC currently, but all I can advise here is that the League have told us that Mole Valley SCR are unaffected by the situation and our game will go ahead, weather permitting.

It must be said that the game at Cobham was delayed due to rain and then abandoned due to fog on Saturday, so who knows what could happen! Either way, we just need to be ready to play and hopefully to secure our first league 'double' of the season, following our 1-0 home in win October.

We then return home for our League match with yet another team near the top in Molesey. I am sure both teams would rather still be playing in the Vase that day, but as Mick Jagger once said, you can't always get what you want!!

Come on you Salts!
