Welcome to the latest Club update.

This weekend we said goodbye to our long-serving Manager Lyndon Buckwell.

We've already gone into major detail on the achievements of our Manager and further articles are in the souvenir programme from Saturday's match, available for £3 inc p & p by the way!

So it's time to move on and Lyndon left Glyn to deal with all decisions on Saturday where we were faced by a determined and committed defensive display from the visitors Frimley Green.

Maybe the game would have turned out differently had we been able to score from the twentieth mintue penalty but Kyle's spot kick was well saved and although their goal had a number of close escapes, they were probably worth a point for their efforts alone.

For us, we have to start taking a greater percentage of our chances, starting at Knaphill on Saturday, as fixtures are now coming up against some of the perceived "bigger boys" in the division like Westfield, Spelthorne and Guildford City. Last Saturday's win at Hanworth Villa proved what we can do, although it should be pointed out that the Villains lost at bottom club Farnham Town, so we can't get too carried away with a result against a team that are having a bad run, as Saturday's blank proved.

All that remains is to wish good luck to Glyn Mandeville and the lads for the rest of the season!

Come on you Salts!
