Historical Section 1949-50 Season This programme was produced for a game on 15th October 1949 against Kingstonian in the F.A. Cup. The general consensus in the press was that this game produced the record attendance at West Street as 5,000 were present to see the K's win 3-1. However, whilst it was definitely a post war record, it is extremely likely that some of the games in the mid-twenties had far greater attendances.
